Japanese tattooing has always been one of my greatest artistic inspirations. Beyond the incredible designs, I've always admired the culture, discipline, respect, and dedication to craftsmanship that define this art form. Those values have quietly influenced my work throughout my entire career. Most people know me for realism, full color, and black & gray, so it was refreshing to step back into a more traditional approach. Every scale, every curve, and every line reminded me why I fell in love with tattooing in the first place. My client sat like a champion, trusted the process completely, and walked away with a tattoo that will be part of his story forever. There is something special about giving someone their very first tattoo, and I'm honored he chose me for that experience. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of his Japanese-inspired journey, and I can't wait to continue building this sleeve together.
